This Privacy Policy describes how Rosanta (operated by CORSAGA, S.A.) collects, uses, and protects the information of people who contact us, including through our WhatsApp and Instagram messaging channels. By writing to us through these channels, you accept the practices described in this policy.

1. Who we are

Rosanta is a restaurant located in Antigua Guatemala. For privacy inquiries, you can write to us at restaurante@rosanta.rest.

2. What information we collect

When you contact us via WhatsApp or Instagram, we may collect:

  • The content of the messages you send us.
  • Your username or profile name, as provided by the platform.
  • Your phone number (in the case of WhatsApp) or account identifier (in the case of Instagram).
  • Any information you voluntarily share in the conversation, such as the date and number of guests for a reservation, or details of an event.

We do not collect sensitive data or financial information through these channels.

3. How we use your information

We use your information solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiries about the restaurant (menu, hours, location, reservations, events).
  • Guide you in making a reservation or requesting an event.
  • Follow up on your request when a team member's attention is needed.
  • Improve the quality of our service.

We do not use your information for advertising, nor do we sell it to third parties.

4. Automated assistant and artificial intelligence

To respond quickly, some messages are processed by an automated assistant that uses artificial intelligence technology provided by Anthropic (Claude). The text of your message is sent to this service solely to generate an appropriate response. It is not used to train models or for any purpose unrelated to assisting you.

5. Who we share information with

To operate this service, we use technology providers that act as data processors:

  • Meta Platforms (WhatsApp and Instagram): platforms through which you receive and send messages.
  • Anthropic (Claude): processes the text of messages to generate responses.
  • Google (Google Workspace): we store the record of conversations and requests to follow up on them.

Each of these providers handles information in accordance with its own privacy policies. We do not share your information with third parties for commercial purposes.

6. Data retention

We keep records of conversations only for as long as necessary to handle your request and for internal follow-up and service improvement purposes. You can request the deletion of your data at any time.

7. Your rights

You can request to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by writing to us at restaurante@rosanta.rest. We will handle your request in accordance with applicable law.

8. Minors

Our services are intended for adults. We do not intentionally collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please write to us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access. No system is completely infallible, but we are committed to handling your data with care and responsibility.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when necessary. We will publish the current version on this same page along with its update date.
